The Ideal Monitor system is a state of the art standards based system for the configuration and day to day management of Suprema's Biostation devices.

Managing Devices

The system provides means for adding, modifying or removing devices by utilizing graphical symbols depicting the devices installed. Based on the ease of simple mouse gestures such as drag-n-drop a system administrator can quickly get things running with minimal hassle.


Real-time Monitoring

The console allows the following up of devices in service and graphically alerting the system administrator that some devices went down and require investigation. Of the problems are loss of power to the devices, or loss of network connectivity.
An advantage for enterprises is the availability of SNMP support within the Ideal Monitor system. If you have some sort of NMS (Network Monitoring System) it will work just fine with us.

 

 

 
 
 

 

 

Data Backup

The system allows the diagram of devices created to be exported to an XML format file, and also the import of this same file.

 

Key Technologies Supported

Unicode is the base encoding of all data withing the system whether importing/exporting or backing up of date. Our systems are SOAP based, thus firewall friendly which eases remote administration of the Ideal Monitor System. And XML is used extensively in also the operation of exporting/importing data as it is the de-facto file format used in systems interoperability.

Exporting Events

Using the console application you can exportable fields to a multitude of formats such as plain text, comma separated text, Microsoft Excel file, or pump the data to database systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, IBM DB2, Firebird. The export of events to files can be configured according to any user specified templates or selected from a pool of predefined templates.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


The dumping or pumping of data can be scheduled to occur at any conceivable time configuration. Such as daily, weekly, monthly, or in intervals within a day. File names can be formated to match any user required format according to predefined templates or custom user defined templates.
